The Warehouse
EPS started with the warehouse in Carlisle PA, changing from the metal halide lamps which cast a sleepy, dingy, drab color on everything and everyone. Now that the lighting is from a higher quality, brighter, more efficient retrofit, they are really enjoying their space. Employees report better mood, less call-ins, more efficiency and a better over-all feel to the workplace.

The Stores
Giant was so pleased with the outcome of the warehouse they decided to retrofit over 20 of their stores in the Mid Atlantic. Not only does the new lighting give each store a facelift, the products, packaging, and colors really 'pop'. They are enjoying less than two year paybacks with an energy savings over 45%. A hidden benefit... new lamps last about 10 times longer than before. Also, the new EPS lighting runs much cooler which saves tons on air conditioning (literally)!
